eLearning CE: Activity 3 - Choy Rui Zhi(4)

What traits do they possess?   How do you think a good leader manages crisis under stressful situations?

A good leader need to possess an open mind, so that there will be more and more good ideas to do the work given .A leader who makes decisions and then never listens to any arguments about those decisions cannot really be a good leader as he/she tends to just go with is/her own instincts rather than listening to all sides and deciding which is best, therefore when doing the work he has less ideas. However, once a leader has listened to all sides, he or she will often need to make a strong decision quickly and go on quickly to do the work done. A leader who is wishy-washy will not be good either as this way the leader is not standing for his own decision hence, the work will be in a mess. Under a stressful situation the leader needs to be calm, in order to counter the situation faster. Leaders who respond out of passion rather than out of reason will make too many mistakes, as he must cause the team to lose faith in him as there to to much mistake and they know they will not finish the work properly and on time. Most of all, a good leader needs to have leadership in order to lead and he must be ready to faced challenges ahead. The downfall of a leader will be when he does have this traits and not management skill
